Project HELP IV

Neighborhood Housing Services of Staten Island administers the Home Emergency Loan Program, also known as Project HELP, to homeowners who are in need of home emergency repairs. Funding is provided by the New York City Council but the New York City Department of Housing Preservation and Development (HPD) oversees the program. Under this program, NHS of Staten Island provides conditional loans/grants to owners of 1-4 family homes and condos on Staten Island to enable them to complete emergency home repairs. Due to the funding limitations of this program, successful applicants are selected on a first-come, first-served basis. The maximum conditional loan/grant amount available is up to $20,000 based on construction need.

Thank you for participating in the project HELP IV program. The application submission process is closed as of June 26th, 2019. If you applied for this program and did not receive approval letter by June 30th, 2019, that means you were not among the sellected applicants. Please, try again next year when the program is made available again. Web master.
